Booking agreements

Please note that we are a family campsite. To make a reservation you need to be 18 years old.

Booking fee
When booking online, no booking fee is charged. When booking with personal service (telephone/e-mail), a booking fee of SEK 100:- per unit is charged. The booking fee will not be refunded in the event of cancellation.

Confirmation of reservation
After having made the reservation, a confirmation will be sent to the guest, who is required to read this through and to make sure that the information is correct. The reservation is binding when the confirmation/invoice has been fully or partially paid.

Payment of reservation
For online bookings, direct payment is required in order to confirm the booking. Other bookings shall be paid no later than 40 days before arrival, unless anything else has been agreed upon. If the guest does not make the first payment on time, we have the right to cancel the guest’s booking. If the guest is late with the final payment and despite reminder does not pay the full amount, it will be viewed as a cancellation from the guest’s part and the rules for cancellation apply.

Rescheduling
We offer free rescheduling of reservations up until 6 pm (18.00) the day before arrival. Free rescheduling can be used on one occasion, after that the rules for cancellation will apply. At the time of the rescheduling, the guest must be able to state new dates for arrival and departure. Any difference in price will not be refunded.

Cancellation of reservation
Cancellations that are made without cancellation insurance will not be refunded.

However, if the rent of the reservation exceeds SEK 2000:-, the guest can apply for a refund. If the campsite manages to rent the same object again to the same extent as before, the total amount of rent can be refunded minus a SEK 2000:- cancellation fee per object.

When cancelling with cancellation insurance, refunds will be made in accordance with current regulations/booking
agreements.

Cancellation insurance for cabins & glamping tents
A cancellation insurance costs SEK 400:- per cabin/glamping tent and can be purchased when making the reservation.

When cancelling with cancellation insurance more than 40 days before arrival, the entire rent will be refunded minus a SEK 300:- cancellation fee per unit.

When cancelling with cancellation insurance less than 40 days before arrival, the entire rent will be refunded minus a SEK 500:- cancellation fee per unit.

The cost of the cancellation insurance as well as any eventual booking fee, will not be refunded.

The cancellation insurance is valid until 6 pm (18.00) the day before arrival.

Cancellation insurance for camping
A cancellation insurance costs SEK 200:- per camping pitch and can be purchased when making the reservation.

When cancelling with cancellation insurance more than 40 days before arrival, the entire rent will be refunded minus a SEK 150:- cancellation fee per unit.

When cancelling with cancellation insurance less than 40 days before arrival, the entire rent will be refunded minus a SEK 250:- cancellation fee per unit.

The cost of the cancellation insurance as well as any eventual booking fee, will not be refunded.

The cancellation insurance is valid until 6 pm (18.00) the day before arrival.

Changes in reservation
Unexpected events or accidents which are beyond our control give us the right to move the guest to equivalent accomodations.

If the guest chooses to leave earlier than planned, no refund will be made.

Times for check-in and check-out
Check-in time is between 3 pm and 8 pm (15.00-20.00) unless anything else has been agreed upon. Please notify the reception if estimated time for arrival is later than 8 pm (20.00) or outside our opening hours.

Check-out time is no later than 11 am (11.00) for cabins and glamping tents, and no later than noon (12.00) for camping pitches, unless anything else has been agreed upon.

Regulations
For everyone’s comfort there are certain regulations that apply during the stay. These regulations can be found on our website. All guests must have read the regulations before arrival, and must comply with them throughout the entire stay. Sommarvik AB is entitled to deny guests from checking in if they are under the age of 18.

How we manage your personal data
The details you share when making a reservation (contact details, purchase information, correspondence etc.) will be stored in our database until your stay has taken place and thereafter for seven years in accordance with the Swedish Accounting Act, with the sole purpose of managing your reservation and to uphold our legal obligations in accordance with Swedish law. Your details will never be shared with independent parties or used for e.g. marketing mailings.
